Craniosacral Therapy

What is it
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive and holistic treatment, that supports the body to
activate its self-regulating abilities.
The Craniosacral system consists of the membranes and fluids that protect the brain and the
spinal cord, (cerebrospinal fluid) as well as the attached bones; from the cranium, down the spine,
to the sacrum. The central nervous system and the cerebrospinal fluid in which the nervous system
bathes are central parts of the treatment. The Craniosacral system and the central nervous system
have a reciprocal influence on all of the other systems of our body, such as the digestive,
respiratory, cardiac and lymphatic system.
Our body is constantly striving for health. However the intense emotional, mental and physical
experiences that we have been through our life journey often blocks the flow of energy to move
through the body. Grounded in the physical body, we get in touch with the energetic essence, that
generates fluid movements and manifest as a biodynamic life force within the human system.

What it does
CST is thought to improve efficiency of biological processes through boosting inherent self-regulation, self-correction and self-healing. The therapy can be used successfully with children and adults.
